Introduction

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) can harm communities, but not enough people are reporting it. We’re dedicated to tackling the problem. Every report you make helps us pinpoint solutions for positive change in your community.

ASB is an incident that falls short of a crime, where the behaviour of an individual or group causes or is likely to cause:

  • Harassment, alarm, or distress to any person, not of the same household
  • Another party to feel personally threatened
  • A public nuisance or detrimental impact upon the environment
  • A detrimental effect upon the quality of life of an individual or the community as a whole

We hope to seek your responses to a few further questions relating to ASB in your area.

We will use your responses to build a rich map of data to lead targeted responses.

Not all reports can be addressed immediately, or the solution may need to have more of a partnership and / or long-term approach, but we will keep you updated via the South Wales Listens messaging service on any progress. The more you report, the more we can act and keep your community safe.

For the purpose of this survey, where reference is made to your “local area” this is defined as within 15 minutes’ walk from your home.

Thank you for completing the ASB survey.

Not all reports can be addressed immediately particularly where the solution needs to have more of a long-term approach.

The more you report, the more we can act and keep your community safe.

If you witness ASB in your local area, we want to hear about it because when you make a report, it contributes to crime data which can lead to targeted community solutions. Every anti-social behaviour report you make helps us pinpoint solutions for positive change in your community.

Project Pinpoint: Every report counts | South Wales Police

It can be difficult to come forward with information. You might have seen or heard something about a crime or incident but don't know what to do or are scared to tell someone.

It's easy to think there is nothing you can do, but Crimestoppers offer you a safe way to do this. No police. No witness statements. No courts. They’re an independent charity that gives you the power to speak up and stop crime, 100% anonymously. They don’t judge. They just listen to what you know and pass it on for you.
